Quality Beef Calves For Sale

At Seaton Farms we work closely with the Cogent team to develop a breeding policy of 50% 4M sexed and 50% beef impact semen. We have regular discussions with the team at Cogent to select the right bulls for the right cows and use various 4M Genomic bulls with attributes suited to our farming style and herd. We use quality Aberdeen Angus semen on the cows that don't match our criteria which is pretty stringent. Our main focus can then be directed at rearing the heifer calves that best suit our herd and farming style.

All calves receive the same high quality care protocols which include 4 litres of good quality colostrum administered within the first hour of birth followed by a high quality milk replacer from Buitelaar called Heifer 100 after 3 days of Colostrum. All calves are also BVD tag and tested and housed in social groups from birth. As we feel that we give all calves the best start in life, we would like to find a buyer for our beef calves. We feel that minimising movements for calves would be beneficial to the calf, the rearer and us.
